Just listen to what people are saying about the Maddy's experience:
From Access Atlanta, a snippet from the full review:
"BEST RIBS
For those in the Fatt Matt's rib camp, Maddy's offers some strong competition - the ribs here are big, Fred Flintstonelike renditions with lots of meat, lots of fat and good smoky flavor that doesn't need sauce. They call themselves a blues joint, and live music is a plus, as is a good selection of beer."

"Maddy's is good shizzle. "

"Maddy's Ribs are the best!!! They also have great pulled pork and chicken for you vegetarians out there. I like the choice of beers and the variety of blues that they book. Also there is nothing like sitting on the deck on hot summer night with a cold beer and some great Q. You gotta go!!!"
Jeanette G., Morrow, Georgia
"This is the place to be if you dig ribs and blues. The food here is awesome, I don't know what they put in their potato salad but it's addictive. I usually try to get there a little bit early because it gets pretty packed. The service is good and the beer is better. "

"'Good barbeque' is a subjective concept, of course, but, for me, Maddy's has the right idea. Reasonable prices. The barbeque itself is neither too dry, nor too soupy, and the sauce is savory with more heat than sweet. I'm a creature of habit with barbeque, so I haven't tried a lot of their menu, but I can highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich. (If you aren't a pork fan, they do a chicken version that is quite nice too.) If you like garlic, you can't miss the potato salad, which is a garlic-y delight. "
